- You will lead improvement initiatives to achieve, maintain, and enhance safety, reliability, and process capabilities through project management.
- You will contribute to the design and development of new and existing hardware, playing a key role in the manufacturing and integration of current and future vehicles.
- Utilize process improvement methods and tools to reduce manufacturing time and quality issues, increase production rates, and eliminate waste from processes.
- Manage projects, meet deadlines, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Train team members in operational practices, lead process improvement workshops, provide training sessions, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with design engineers to assess designs for manufacturability and testing requirements in a rapidly evolving production setting.
- Implement tooling and testing solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing
- Ability to make informed assumptions, conduct trade studies, and provide clear recommendations based on engineering fundamentals.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing, quality tools, and metal manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD, geometric dimensioning, and coding languages.
- Experience with complex automated systems and risk assessment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work extended hours if needed.
- Comfortable working in a production environment for extended periods.
- Experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
- Experience in aviation or aerospace development programs.
- Experience with Inconel, Titanium, 3D-printed parts, castings, or forgings.
