But how are plastics processed, how are products designed, engineered, and manufactured, and what kind of machines are needed to produce plastic products? The answers to these questions can be found in the Plastics Engineering program, which leads to a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree.

This six-semester program provides comprehensive knowledge in the field of plastics.

The curriculum is based on mechanical engineering and process engineering, setting it apart from programs with a focus on chemistry and chemical engineering.

Plastics engineers work in areas such as product development and design, manufacturing, and sales.
