Site Manager


We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Grocery Fulfillment Center in Brooklyn, NY.

As the Site Manager, you will manage a high-volume pick / pack e-commerce operation, ensuring seamless order fulfillment utilizing Fabrics' automation system.

Job Overview


The MFC Site Manager will report to the VP commercial operations and will lead the daily activities of a high-volume pick, pack and dispatch Micro Fulfillment Center (MFC).

The Site manager will be responsible for all MFC operations and onsite team development and mentorship at our ecommerce grocery MFC in Brooklyn, NY.

The site will be operating as an e-commerce only grocery store by working with delivery partners to deliver directly to customer doors.


What you'll do

  • Efficiently manage robotics, personnel, and quality control processes to optimize operational efficiency, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to Fabric and grocery quality standards.
  • Accountable for all facility KPIs (e.g. SLA %, labor efficiency, quality + accuracy %, etc.)
  • Collaborate with delivery partners to manage customer service operations and coordinate outbound schedules to meet ondemand picking expectations and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Collaborate with a staffing agency to recruit, train, and manage a team of supervisors and operators including managing performance, directing work, and supporting career development to scale operations to support a 24/7 schedule.
  • Implement a comprehensive training program covering automation technology, grocery operations, and 5S practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Become an expert in Fabric's hardware and software solutions to exceed performance expectations. Utilize Fabric's endtoend fulfillment solution to maximize operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, equipment and space utilization to fulfill throughput goals during peak and nonpeak periods. Develop detailed facility operation plans and schedules for peak periods based upon high level parameters provided by management.
  • Manage, delegate, and analyze daily operations to drive exceptional results, executing standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement, implementing solutions, and providing ongoing training where needed to drive operational efficiency, inventory management, order accuracy and ontime delivery
  • Develop and maintain a high performing, people first culture.
  • Responsible for site P&L
  • Ensure all OSHA safety requirements and regulations are met.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with our retail partners.
  • Able to represent the company during site visits to potential customers.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of grocery fulfillment operation experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 40+ exempt and nonexempts and/or $5+ million in assets
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team collaboration and development
  • Detailoriented with excellent execution skills and a customercentric mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced, constantly evolving environment
  • Experience in hiring and building great teams
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in on demand, same day delivery and parcel shipping
  • Handson approach with strong analytical problemsolving skills.
  • Flexibility to work untraditional hours (including early mornings, late nights, overnights)
