Job Summary and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In Your Role:
- You will be responsible for assigned receivable and liability account reconciliations. Resolves all reconciling items in these accounts
- You will be responsible for completing assigned Medicare, Year-End and Internal Audit work papers. Responsible for answering questions related to these items
- You will be responsible for the monthend closing procedures of the hospital and the COIDS associated with the hospital. Prepares monthend entries associated w/ assigned closing functions
- You will be responsible for the Annual budget for the COIDs associated with the hospital and assists in the hospital annual budget preparation
- You will be responsible for daily and biweekly PLUS productivity reconciliation and maintenance of the multiplier tables for each department. Provides PLUS training to new Directors/Managers and refresher sessions when requested
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Finance or Accounting / CPA preferred
- Experience in mainframe and PC based reporting systems preferred
- Minimum of 2 years healthcare accounting experience preferred
