Job Summary and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In Your Role:

You will be responsible for assigned receivable and liability account reconciliations. Resolves all reconciling items in these accounts
You will be responsible for completing assigned Medicare, Year-End and Internal Audit work papers. Responsible for answering questions related to these items
You will be responsible for the monthend closing procedures of the hospital and the COIDS associated with the hospital. Prepares monthend entries associated w/ assigned closing functions
You will be responsible for the Annual budget for the COIDs associated with the hospital and assists in the hospital annual budget preparation
You will be responsible for daily and biweekly PLUS productivity reconciliation and maintenance of the multiplier tables for each department. Provides PLUS training to new Directors/Managers and refresher sessions when requested

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelor's Degree
Finance or Accounting / CPA preferred
Experience in mainframe and PC based reporting systems preferred
Minimum of 2 years healthcare accounting experience preferred
