Function

Integral part of the Commercial organization and quote process. Administers and coordinates the preparation of spot quotes for customers across all product lines and markets. Utilizes Rea processes and systems to upload and track quote results while working directly with Rea's account managers. Works closely with Pricing Manager to develop and implement changes for all aspects of pricing including metal premiums, fabrication prices, freight, and economic order quantities. Works across departments in conjunction with Accounting and Credit departments to help reconcile any invoicing issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides analysis and recommendations for customer pricing quotations using established methodology and systems.
Tracks fulfillment rates for quotations and reports RFQ results, working directly with account managers and Commercial leadership.
Distributes customer metal prices at monthend and shares customer pricing summaries to ensure accurate payment.
Maintains and updates existing price memos in Rea Price Management System on a monthly basis.
Assists in the onboarding of new customers and validates pricing is established for new customers.
Provides ad hoc reporting for groups both internal/external to sales and market department as required.
Works with internal groups to conduct pricing reviews and resolves any potential billing or invoicing discrepancies.
Seeks out and acts on opportunities to continuously improve pricing related process and tool sets.
Performs other duties and special assignments as requested.

Position Specifications

Associate's degree in Data Analytics, Marketing or Accounting; bachelor's degree preferred.
Prior experience in pricing preferred.
Highly proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other data analysis and mining tools.
Excellent analytical skills.
Selfmotivated, independent worker but team player.
