Daily responsibilities may include:
Work in cyber and virtual environment.
Use of National Security, DoD, and USIC policies.
Conduct academic research and summarize findings.
Write accurately and succinctly.
Prepare written information reports in variety of formats.
Provide organized oral briefings/updates to individuals or teams.
Respond to technical or language support requests.
Willingness and flexibility to work outside normal business hours (not shift work).
Qualifications
In-depth understanding of US military and USIC relationships with other countries.
Working knowledge of National Security, DoD, and USIC policies.
Strong and effective written and oral communication skills.
Experience in cyber and virtual environments.
Ability to multi-task and accomplish tasks with limited direct supervision.
Additional language proficiency preferred, but not required.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong operational security practices.
High comfort level in interacting with a wide variety of government leadership and contractor personnel.
Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a diverse, evolving, and high-profile environment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) years or more working within National Security, Department of Defense or US Intelligence Community.
Graduate Degree in International Studies, Intelligence and Security, Foreign Affairs, or related field of study.
Formal policy knowledge, experience, coursework, internships or certifications.
Experience creating written and/or briefed products and demonstrating findings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Minimum of active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (PR within 6 years) with the ability to obtain a polygraph.
DESIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Recently passed polygraph.
Covid Policy:
SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
