- Identify new technology areas for investment and conduct technical diligence on multiple investments.
- Manage development and negotiation of contracts between In-Q-Tel and start-ups.
- Provide technical oversight on work programs, assess work program deliverables, and communicate resolutions for issues to key stakeholders.
- Utilize technical and market knowledge to identify topics for Market Surveys and Global Competitive Analysis products.
- Develop technology architectures and solutions for government partners.
- Offer thought leadership in specific subject matter areas.
- Collaborate with customers on technology adoption strategies for work programs.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Degree in science or engineering.
- 5-20+ years of professional experience, including overseeing technology development in a business or intelligence setting.
- Expertise in fields like wireless/wired networks, digital signal processing, satellite communications, etc.
- Experience negotiating milestone-based contracts and eligibility for classified information access.
- Interest in emerging technologies.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and provide recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Background in startup or entrepreneurial environments.

Overview
This position reports to the Senior Vice President of the Intelligent Connectivity and Compute Practice at In-Q-Tel. The role involves collaborating with government partners to understand their technology challenges and leveraging expertise to explore and suggest potential solutions from the startup landscape.
