In the role of
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Intern, we'll count on you to:
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, deliver messages, greet employees and visitors, schedule conference rooms, and distribute incoming faxes and mail
- Enter facility work orders and visitors into online system
- Keep office "help" list up to date with new vendors, procedures
- Prepare outgoing mail/packages (USPS, UPS, Fedex, courier).
- Order food and assist with setting up/clearing up office lunches/events
- Complete word processing for letters, memos, reports, labels and other documents as needed
- Order supplies and stock areas (supplies, kitchens) as needed
- Ensure all common areas (conference rooms, kitchens, production room) are kept in an orderly manner (turn off screens, clean white boards, etc.)
- Assist administrative staff as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Selfmotivated, detailoriented professional, ability to multitask a must
- Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employeeowned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience
