    Description

    Engineering Project Manager

    We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team. Our company specializes in plastic manufacturing. As an Engineering Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing medium to large-scale capital projects crucial to our business strategy. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record in managing manufacturing automation projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead medium to large-scale capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Develop and implement Project Execution Strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout project development and execution.
    • Maintain adherence to schedules, budgets, and customer requirements.
    • Advocate for and implement best practices in project management.
    • Provide mentorship to junior Project Managers.
    • Prioritze safety, cost-efficiency, and adherence to schedules.
    • Manage project risks and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.
    • Facilitate the acquisition of external permits.
    • Monitor project progress, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
    • Coolaborate with the Capital Coordinators Team to develop and manage annual capital plans and budgets.
    • Manage relationships with all project stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the plastic manufacturing sector.
    • Strong understanding of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) process.
    • Exeptional communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%-35%.
    • Technical background with hands-on experience in plastic manufacturing.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
