Beyond A Resume seeks a Payroll Manager for our biotech client in Rockville, MD.Job Overview:
As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
This is a vital role within our organization, as accurate and timely payroll processing is crucial to maintaining employee satisfaction and organizational success.
Job Duties:
- Manage endtoend payroll processing, including data entry, calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes
- Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy
- Process employee changes, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Coordinate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with finance department to ensure accurate general ledger accounting related to payroll transactions
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in payroll regulations
Work Experience:
- 3+ yrs in payroll management experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in using payroll software (ADP experience a plus)
- Experience in employee stock transactions, knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll tax laws.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
Pay:
$80, $150,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Payroll management: 3 years (required)
- SOX: 3 years (preferred)
