Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications systems and equipment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our customers' communication networks are operating efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and test telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, modems, and other hardware.
Perform routine maintenance on telecommunications systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, both remotely and onsite, and implement appropriate solutions.
Respond promptly to service requests and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities accurately and thoroughly.
Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
Keep abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or training preferred.
Proven experience as a field service technician in the telecommunications industry.
Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, protocols, and equipment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
