In this vital role you will collaboration with cross-functional partners for Uplizna and aligned with product strategy, the Scientific Communications Manager is accountable for a broad scope of responsibilities, including:


  • Medical review of promotional materials as a member of the Material Approval and Compliance Committee
  • Core scientific and medical content (e.g., disease state education/digital/medical science liaison materials/FAQs/Medical Information Letters)
  • Content for scientific meetings
  • Payerrelated content
  • Partner with MedInfo to respond to inquiries and conduct literature surveillance
  • Maintain strong working relationships with crossfunctional partners on the extended team

Basic Qualifications:


  • Doctorate degree

Or:


  • Master's degree and 2 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience

Or:


  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience

Or:


  • Associate's degree and 8 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience

Or:


  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO with 1 or more years of relevant experience in clinical research, patient care, Medical/Scientific Affairs, and/or basic research
  • Prior experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within the biopharmaceutical industry, and/or clinical or research experience
  • Understanding of current publication environment, good publication practices, and other global guidelines related to publications, scientific data communication, and transparency standards
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the regulatory and legal guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products
  • Demonstrated track record of strategic execution in a matrix environment with limited supervision
  • Experience leading vendors
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and project planning skills
  • Ability to lead and/or facilitate effective team meetings
  • Strong computer and database skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products

This role is paid hourly. The expected annualized salary range for this role in the U.S.

(excluding Puerto Rico) is $112,714.00 to $137, Actual salary will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
