Description
This position is responsible for servicing assigned accounts including set-up, bonding, renewals and general questions.

Handle the compilation and analysis of financial information for submission to obtain approval of new and renewal bonds, issuing and billing of bonds as well as general customer service relating to our bond book of business.

This position requires extensive bond experience to include contract and commercial surety bonds.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs independent reviews to determine proper bonding coverage and identify deficiencies.
  • Gathers underwriting information, including financials, for principal bond programs.
  • Facilitates communication between the surety carrier and clients to execute bonds and riders.
  • Collaborates with Brokers in marketing and placing risks.
  • Maintains manuals, powers of attorneys, etc.
  • Processes renewals, new bonds, and follows up on bond exonerations.
  • Provides Technical Support and problemsolving assistance to staff.
  • Serves as a technical expert and trainer, assisting team members with complex issues.
  • Collects fees, reconciles accounts, and resolves outstanding balances within 90 days.
  • Ensures compliance with agency management system standards and data integrity.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, understanding their insurance needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, regulations, and insurance products to provide uptodate advice.
  • Maintains organized and accurate client records through the Agency Management System.
  • Responds promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
  • Engages in ongoing training and professional development.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Maintain current Property & Casualty Agent license.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial surety underwriting or service role.
  • Currently have or ability to obtain a notary license.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to be physically present to complete duties & responsibilities (stamp/seal/mail bonds) during office hours.

Pay:
$50, $92,000.00 per year
