Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing employee schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with various departments, and excellent communication skills. responsible for HR for 60 bed skilled nursing facility must have 2 years in experience in HR and Scheduling.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain employee schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Dayforce)
  • Coordinate with department managers to ensure appropriate staffing levels
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in staffing needs or employee availability
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Assist in succession planning by identifying potential scheduling conflicts and proposing solutions
  • Collect and analyze data related to employee attendance, productivity, and scheduling patterns
  • Collaborate with training development team to ensure proper onboarding and orientation of new employees
  • Support HR sourcing efforts by providing input on scheduling requirements for new hires
  • Assist in benefits administration, including tracking vacation time, sick leave, and other timeoff requests
  • Maintain accurate records of employee schedules, timeoff requests, and other relevant information in HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
  • Conduct regular audits of scheduling processes to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Scheduler or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling software (e.g., Dayforce) and HRIS systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data
  • Knowledge of strategic planning principles
  • Familiarity with HR processes such as benefits administration and employee orientation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
