    Job Title: Process Improvement Analyst


    Location: Dallas, TX


    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm


    Pay: $20.00/hour


    Responsibilities:

    • Developing operating procedures to ensure consistent investigations are being conducted in the housing department
    • Writing policies and procedures, and motivated to help innovate protocols
    • Observing site visits conducted by housing investigators
    • Conducts workshops for employers to review stand operating procedures
    • Attends meetings representing division/section
    • Reviews the investigative work of staff and determines the appropriate disposition of cases
    • Reviews and/or performs analysis of complaint trends and recommends to City management short and long range remedial actions to correct or prevent future conflict situations.
    • Consults with and provides advice to management on equal opportunity and housing issues.
    • Responsibilities - Supervisor and/or Leadership Exercised:
    • Responsible for the full range of supervisory activities including selection, training, counseling and recommendations
    • Connect with external vendors to fully understand their existing programs and learn the operations to mirror them within the City of Dallas
    • Other duties as assigned


    Job Requirements:

    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Knowledge of applicable processes, techniques, and methods.
    • Knowledge of supervisory and managerial techniques and methods.
    • Knowledge of program management techniques.
    • Knowledge of fiscal planning and budget preparation.
    • Skilled in oral and written communications, and handling multiple tasks and prioritizing.
    • Skilled in using computers and related software.
    • Skilled in data analysis and problem solving.
    • Ability to handle hostile conflict, and uncertain situations.
    • Ability to train others.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with city employees and the public.
