Role:
Electrical Engineer (Medical Device)

Location:
Santa Clara, CA

Duration:

6 Months

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sustaining engineering, electronic component life-cycle management, instrument field
complaint investigation and documentation to support these efforts.
Root cause analysis tools to troubleshoot various levels of electro-mechanical sub-systems and instruments.
Contribute inputs on a diverse cross functional/cross site team and external contract
manufacturers and engineers.
Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of
Clients Quality Management System per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the
improper performance of their specific job.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred; or equivalent experience/combined
education. Generally 3+ years of experience in medical device
Conducts measurements specified in test plans, documents and tabulates results, and
provides engineering test reports as required.
Experience in electronics design for test, manufacturing and assembly with an
understanding of design impact on EMC, ESD and Immunity.
Basic understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems and sub-systems.
Experience with supporting a lab to ensure procedures are followed, cleanliness
standards are applied and lab activities are in compliance with quality procedures.
