Matrix Providers is hiring a
Clinical Psychologist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families at the
Medical Readiness Clinic in Groton, CT perform assessments, evaluations, consultations, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Setting:Medical Readiness Clinic (Naval Health)

Role: Provide Post Deployment Health Readiness Re-Assessment at the Medical Readiness Clinic.

Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 annually:

Sign on bonus:$5000.00

Schedule: Monday
  • Friday
  • 40 hours per week

No nights, no weekends, no-on call

Clinical Psychologist Key Responsibilities

Assessment and Evaluation:


  • Perform thorough assessments, evaluations, and consultations to determine the medical readiness of service members.
  • Utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (current edition) as a reference for differential diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for service members.

Coordination of Appointments:


  • Coordinate with personnel assigned to the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) to schedule initial and followup appointments or referrals for service members.
  • Ensure appointments are scheduled before service members leave the center or undergo screening at the Line unit.

Case Management:


  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and clinical guidelines.
  • Monitor the progress of service members and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or resources to ensure continuity of care for service members.

Quality Assurance:


  • Contribute to organizational quality assurance goals by participating in technical peer reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to fellow healthcare providers as required and appropriate.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records for service members in accordance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes for documentation and reporting purposes.

Clinical Psychologist Qualifications:

Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.
D.) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.

Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship in psychology
accredited by the American Psychological Association.

Experience:


  • One year of experience within the last two years working with patient population with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Licensure: Current, complete, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands.
