Duties:


  • Provide service members with all applicable forms assists them and their family members with obtaining any required information and documents.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments for any necessary examinations, screenings, tests or immunizations.
  • Retrieve medical information from CHCS/AHLTA WEB PRINT/MHS GENESIS and any other electronic health record and includes with the screening documents.
  • Keep accountability of records, and coordinating and directing members for medical standdowns.
  • Contact other healthcare facilities to obtain additional medical/dental information and records.
  • Record and maintain an uptodate suitability screening program as directed by the department or command leadership.
  • Track participants referrals and medical follow up care. Coordinate with the deployment health clinic and dental clinic for continuity of care. Ensure the accountability and custody and control of all medical records.

Conditions of Employment:


  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 3 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a requirement to lift up to 25 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.

Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing and/or screening patients medical records; utilizing office software such as (Microsoft word, Excel, and Power Point) to create documents; and review medical forms to ensure their completion. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
