Description

Job:

Chef - Prepares and cooks food for residents and staff using standardized recipes and complying with regulatory requirements; assures that all prepared food items meet standards for temperature, quality, consistency, freshness, taste and appearance.

Schedule & Hours:

Monday through Friday, some weekends for catering, and no holidays.

Mon-Thur: 11am-7:30pm

Fridays: 7am-3:30pm

Pay:

$3000 Sign on Bonus for Full-time position

$ $22.76 per hour

Requirements:

Six months to one year of cooking experience with preference of large scale food preparation

Completion of Food Safety Training for Food Service Workers within 90 days of hire

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 60 pounds

Pass basic physical including a drug screen and receive an annual flu shot

Pass background check

Schedule includes working every other weekend and an occasional holiday
