Conducts research, content development and/or editorial functions in the fields of modern and contemporary art for the Deputy Director of the Getty Research Institute.
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Provides bibliographic assistance, acquisitions research, editing, and organizational assistance related to upcoming exhibitions and programs
- Assists in development and coordination of programmatic events
Qualifications:
- 02 years research experience (education may be considered); 23 years research experience preferred
- Strong library skills, computing and word processing ability, the ability to handle many projects and the disposition to interact with many colleagues from a broad range of disciplines
- Proficiency in Spanish, French, or German a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
- Ability to build relationships, work in partnership and work on teams
- Ability to set and meet deadlines for oneself
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites preferred
