    Hardware Development Engineer

    Junior - $80-92K plus excellent benefits package

    Senior - $105-123k plus excellent benefits package

    Knoxville, TN (hybrid) - relocation assistance available if required.

    To be successful in this role:

    You will be a confident Hardware Development Engineer with 1+ years of experience taking projects through the full life cycle, with full ownership of the hardware portion, as part of a smaller development team.


    Other requirements for this role include:
    Expertise in analog / digital circuit design for new product development
    Exposure to a variety of components (DSPs, FETs, amplifiers, switched power supplies, etc.)
    Working knowledge of interface electronics for a variety of applications, such as intelligent motors, sensors, optical detectors, illumination, and data communications, including USB and Ethernet
    BSEE (MSEE a plus)


    Job role and responsibilities:


    As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of new instrumentation and measurement products.

    This will include both analog and digital circuit design using DSPs, microcontrollers, programmable logic, operational amplifiers, FETs, BJT's, switching and linear DC/DC supplies.

    You will work the full life cycle of your projects, working with a multi-disciplinary development team, including schematic design, board layout, PCB bring-up, debugging, verification testing, and performance characterization of new designs.
