Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health
• Diagnose and treat visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
• Detect and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, ocular surface disease, foreign body/ anterior segment diseases, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy
• Provide pre

- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries

• Educate patients on proper eye care practices
• Maintain accurate medical records. We use Crystal Practice Management for EMR.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
• State licensure to practice optometry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care
• Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics and seniors
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment
