Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Taking a residential title file from inception through closing with persistent attention to detail and followup.
• Ensuring compliance with contracts, settlement statements, mortgages, deeds, and policies of title insurance.
• Verifying that monetary amounts are correct to satisfy all mortgages, taxes and judgments, and overseeing the collection of all fees and charges associated with the settlement.
• Preparing and reviewing documents necessary for settlement.
• Coordinating with buyers, sellers and real estate agents to obtain all of the information necessary to facilitate a smooth settlement experience.
• Reviewing all legal documentation to ensure that it is accurate, properly notarized and recorded, and prepared and submitted in proper form.
• Updating proprietary software with followups, results, and other data entry.

• 12 years of working knowledge of the Real Estate and or Title Industry

Pay:
From $24.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
