    Sioux Falls, SD 57107

    This position starts out at $16.95 and up, depending on experience. This is a full time, seasonal position with a Winter layoff and a Spring recall.

    **JOB SUMMARY**

    Responsible to serve the needs of customers through face to face interaction and phone calls at Hardscapes Outlet. They must be able to sell or offer advice on available products and ticket/ weigh customers in a timely manner. This position will also require equipment operating on a time-to-time basis when called upon. This position will work out of all Hardscapes Outlet locations and will be a versatile back up to all of our operations.

    **EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**

    One year of college or technical school coursework in Landscaping program preferred; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, but not required.

    **DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES**

    Uses safe work procedures that comply with safety policies and regulations. (Federal, state, local and company policies.)

    Report anything unsafe to supervisor.

    Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders for Hardscape materials including retaining wall blocks, paver and patio blocks, aggregate, mulch, flagstone, etc.

    Fills out order forms, determines charges, collects deposits, and payments.

    Makes arrangements for delivery and pick up of customer orders.

    Will be cross trained to work all positions throughout all the Hardscape locations, including running equipment.

    Assists in finding product quantities for basic installations of landscaping projects.

    Weighing/ticketing trucks in a correct and timely manner.

    Help manage and keep accurate inventory counts for all locations when needed.

    Communicate with co-workers in an effective manner for the benefit of our customers needs.

    Help customers load product when needed with equipment or proper lifting, some of these products will include pavers, retaining wall block, natural stone, natural stone outcroppings, and other products that will vary in weights.

    May assist in design of basic installations.

    Performs other duties as assigned such as showroom upkeeping, cleaning, as well as putting orders away, unloading trucks, and cleaning outside/shop areas.

    Will be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    Will be cross trained for equipment operator as well.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Typical hours during Production are M-F 7am-5pm. 2-3 Saturdays per month from 8am-noon.
