Position Overview:

The prospective candidate is expected to prepare and review financial documents, reports, and statements. Assist the team to advance client's financial planning, profit analysis, budgeting and cast flow projecting, and other client-specific special projects. Staff Accountant will be supervising the Bookkeepers.

In addition to client engagements, the Staff Accountant will assist in firm-wide activities, including promotional activities and provide supervision and coaching to other professionals in the BAS Division.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Senior Accountant and Manager to produce and present financial proposals and manage several clients accounts

Review and present financial statements

Monthly accounting analysis, forecasts, and cash flow projections

Oversee and Process Payroll using Payroll Software: ADP, Paychex, etc.

Review special projects and manage Bookkeepers workload

The ideal candidate would have the following qualification:

Bachelor's degree concentration in Accounting/Finance

2 - 5 years of experience in Accounting

QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks online, including class codes, inventory, WIP, job costing, purchase orders, A/R, A/P, etc.

Excellent analytical skills
Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $57, $57,001.00 per year
