Tournament Coordinator

Stonecreek Golf Club - Phoenix, AZ

Stonecreek Golf Club is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Tournament Coordinator to join our team.

As the Tournament Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and executing golf tournaments and events, ensuring an exceptional experience for participants and guests.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of golf tournaments and events at Stonecreek Golf Club.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop tournament schedules, formats, and themes.
  • Manage tournament registrations, including processing entries, collecting fees, and maintaining participant databases.
  • Coordinate with vendors and sponsors to secure prizes, giveaways, and sponsorships for tournaments.
  • Work closely with the golf operations team to ensure proper setup of tournament infrastructure, including tee markers, scorecards, and signage.
  • Provide onsite support during tournaments, including player checkin, scoring assistance, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of tournament results, scores, and player handicaps.
  • Continuously seek feedback from participants to improve the quality and experience of future tournaments.
  • Assist in managing the pro shop, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales support.
  • Provide excellent customer service to pro shop patrons, including answering inquiries, processing transactions, and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event planning, preferably in the golf industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members, guests, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of golf tournament formats, rules, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and tournament management software (e.g., Golf Genius).
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by tournament schedules.
  • Passion for golf and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to club members and guests.
