Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 10 years of experience in project management, operations management, or related work in a procurementrelated environment.
  • 6 years of experience in people management.
  • 5 years of experience supporting executive stakeholders regarding business strategy using data, analysis, and related reporting tools.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience leading and facilitating crossfunctional and/or global teams, including managing and influencing teams of executive professionals and managers, establishing performance expectations.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting to provide insights into performance and create presentations highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate with leadership to set goals and objectives, with excellent communication/people management skills.
  • Ability to develop strategies for improvement and facilitate pillarwide executive sessions and team meetings.
  • Ability to manage and track budgets and resource utilization.
  • Excellent project/process management skills, to ensure alignment with organizational strategy, identify inefficiencies.

Within the Google Procurement Organization, the Functional Strategy and Transformation team supports GPO's ongoing transformation through program and change management.


In this role, you will serve as a partner to GPO pillars and pillar leadership providing comprehensive support and guidance to enhance operational efficiency, align initiatives with strategic goals, manage resources effectively, and drive continuous improvement within GPO.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$296,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities:


  • Drive collaboration with pillar leadership to understand the organization's goals, drive pillar Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) setting, and ensure alignment of pillar OKRs and initiatives with the overall GPO strategy.
  • Lead collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to provide insights into pillar performance. Generate reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Work with pillar leadership to manage and optimize resource allocation, including human resources, budgeting, and systems/tools resources and ensure resources are utilized effectively to achieve GPO and pillar objectives.
  • Manage and track pillar budgets, resource utilization, and evaluate new pillar initiatives to support resource prioritization and allocation activities.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between different functions and pillar teams and serve as a bridge between departments, fostering synergy, and alignment in achieving common goals and OKRs.
