East Bay YAI is seeking a Full-time Clinical Director oversee a program located in Berkeley, CA and serving individuals in the Harbor Regional Center area.
Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and consultation on behavioral supports and other written documentsReview all START related documentation and provide necessary inputBased on the feedback of Clinical Teams, identify training/support needs of the communityProvide training and consultation to staff, families, and providers including ongoing organization and conducting CETsAssist START Coordinators with preparation for START Coordinator CertificationParticipate in recurring team meetings as necessaryProvide on-site consultation as needed for guests receiving In-Home Therapeutic CoachingRequirements:Ph.
in Psychology and licensed by State's/Province's Psychology Board OR MA in Mental Health, Psychology or Social Work and licensed by State's/Province's BoardMinimum of 7 years of clinical experience working with I/DD populationExtensive experience working with individuals with IDD and mental health and/or challenging behavior needsExperience developing and implementing behavior support plans preferredPrior experience as a START Coordinator and/or START Clinical Team Leader preferredYAI is a network of five agencies offering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities a comprehensive range of services across the lifespan.
