Job summary
The Universal Caregiver / Medication Aide is a pivotal member of our Assisted Living and Residential Care Communities. This role involves more direct interaction with residents than any other position.Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan in a compassionate and attentive manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents by: Performing general housekeeping and deep cleaning as required Following cleaning schedules for resident laundry, bedrooms, dining area, living space, bathrooms kitchens others Reporting documenting any safety issues concerns addressing ifwhen appropriate Collecting garbage from resident rooms each shift Immediately removing incontinent supplies that are wet soiled Removing garbage kitchen laundry room one time shift Taking garbage dumpster needed least one time shift li Prepare cook food required following posted menus Assist serving all meals bringing residents dining room giving assistance needed meals Serve drinks food residents li Attend staff trainings meetings required
- Maintain confidentiality all residents employees organization Have professional friendly demeanor interacting families guests loved ones either person phone Keep areas responsibility clean neat organized Cooperate polite staff members Focus teamwork Working knowledge Assisted Living Residential Care philosophy Resident Rights Understand Senior Housing Managers Code Conduct Employee Handbook li Lift move residents weighing more 100 pounds appropriate assistance equipment Reasonable accommodations may made enable individuals disabilities perform essential functions
