Overview:
We are seeking reliable and responsible individuals to join our team as Lifeguards.
As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our guests and maintaining a clean and enjoyable environment at our pool facility.
This is a paid position, and we offer training courses for those who are new to lifeguarding. Every lifeguards must be American Red Cross Certified.Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool area to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent hazardous situations
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents in the water or on the pool deck
- Perform basic pool maintenance tasks, such as checking chemical levels and cleaning filters
- Provide excellent guest service by answering questions, providing assistance, and addressing concerns
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs
Skills:
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues if necessary
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., moving equipment)
- Familiarity with pool maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and chemical testing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
