Description
:Develop/prepare or direct the preparation of costed bills of materials for timely response to client or prospective client request for quote.
Conduct or supervise the timely and accurate data entry into the Bills of Materials/ MIs, Sales Order and Work Order release.
Provide the focal point and day to day contact with assigned clients.
Confer with management to determine engineering feasibility, cost, effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products
Provide on call engineering expertise to others on the Team.
Assist the material department in supplier selection and component procurement.
Prepare bids, process specifications, inspection and test documentation for quotation.
Examine performance requirements, delivery schedules and estimates of costs of material, equipment, and production to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Assist in the development of new business.
Provide in house support, assistance and training for the ADD+ON MRP II System.
Meet established goals and objectives as set forth by management.
Maintain adherence to ISO clauses
Perform other duties when/as assigned.
May act as Document Control for Client Supplied Documents
Read and understand component drawings, schematics procedures and specifications, with an understanding of dimensions and tolerances.
