- Support the classroom teacher by supervising students and provide learning support and guidance.
- Assist the teacher with the development and implementation of education plans as well as identify and solve issues with the educational, social and emotional development of students.
- Develop meaningful relationships with pupils, providing constructive feedback to help them grow and improve.
- Maintain daily records, track student progress and intervene to help students progress as necessary.
- Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment where the unique needs of all students are met.
- Follow Policies and Procedures as set forth by Administration.
- Provide a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Participate in all school meetings, trainings, and orientations.
- Complete all in-service hours on time.
- Turn in all required paperwork on time.
- Cooperate in school-wide supervision of students during out-of-school activities.
- Evidence of strong Christian faith and values and acknowledgement of the School's Statement of Faith and Staff Leadership Covenant.
- Bachelor's degree in education, bachelor's degree with a teaching certificate, or working towards a bachelor's degree in education.
- Knowledge of elementary curriculum and the ability to implement it.
