The Pharmacist is a key member of the multiprofessional team to provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients.

Collaborates with providers, nurses, therapists, and allied health professionals for the delivery of pharmaceutical care.Coordinates prescriptions leaving the pharmacy for accuracy in filling/refilling medication orders, cassettes or prescriptions.
Assists the Director of Pharmacy in planning, organizing, implementing, directing and controlling pharmacy activities assuring conformance to standard practice of care.
Monitors activities of pharmacy technicians including medication order filling, stock supplies, sterile products, prepackaging of medication, and filling prescriptions.
Maintains records of controlled substances used, including the monitoring, dispensing and storage in the pharmacy and nursing units.Assists the Director of Pharmacy in maintaining purchasing and inventory control, as necessary.
Reports directly to the Director, Pharmacy
PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy residency strongly preferred
Prior hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
Computer skills required in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
