Courier, Express and Postal Services Specialist (m/f/d)

Job Field:

Courier, express and postal services specialists work in logistics companies that specialize in the transport of small and time-critical shipments.

You will be employed in various areas of the transport chain, from order acceptance and processing to goods scanning and checking transport documents, to personal delivery.

The everyday life of a courier, express and postal services specialist is always exciting.

You will work with state-of-the-art equipment such as hand scanners and various means of transportation, and have the opportunity to obtain a forklift license through further training.

Requirements:
High school or secondary school diploma, team spirit, enjoyment of working with people, and interest in logistics processes.

Duration of Training:
Two years. The training takes place at both the company and the vocational school.

Practical Focus of Courier, Express and Postal Services Specialists:

Delivering shipments and planning delivery successes
Sorting shipments and preparing them for further shipping
Carrying out post-delivery tasks
Accepting orders and shipments
Receiving and settling payments
Processing shipment documentation
Informing customers about the company's services, receiving customer requests, and conducting conversations appropriately
Participating in quality assurance measures
Using information and communication systems
