Job Summary:
To provide administrative and document control and support to Engineering Document Control team.


Responsibilities:


  • General clerical duties
  • General photocopying and organization as requested by Engineering upper management.
  • Assisting Lead Administrative Document Control Administrator with engineering transmittals
  • Management of Engineering office supplies includes ordering, organization, and distribution.
  • Responsible for creation and management of Odessa engineering office maps and phone lists
  • Responsible for distributing, maintenance, and overall management of Engineering Work Vehicles
  • Organizing, set up and take down of all Engineering luncheons.
  • Distributing Odessa Engineering office mail
  • Creation, management, and organization of hardcopy Project Job Books with assistance of Vendor Document Administrator
  • Management of Engineering copiers, paper, and copy room.
  • Assisting lead on manual check request for Odessa office
  • Willing to cross train in other areas of Engineering Administration as directed.

Requirements:


  • One to three years administrative and clerical experience. A minimum of one year's industry experience is preferred, not required.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, sit, stand, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple group project document requirements with tact.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently to handle workload and complete job functions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer experience and literacy in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with the types of equipment used in process plants is preferred.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing & recordkeeping.
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
  • Solid communication skills, professional attitude, and works well with others.
  • Some overtime may be possible with management approval.
