Job summary

We are seeking a Group Sales Manager for our property in Santa Cruz, CA. The ideal candidate is a relentless prospector with strong Silicon Valley market knowledge and experience in proactive sales. The role includes identifying and qualifying new group and convention leads, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and maintaining accurate records of prospecting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively solicit, identify, and qualify new group and convention leads through research, cold outreach, networking, and industry connections.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, third-party planners, and local industry partners.
  • Generate qualified leads to the on-site sales team for proposal site inspection closing.
