    DIN TAI FUNG (Food Processing Facility)

    Job Title: Dumpling Prep (Dumpling Trainee)

    Location: 4025 1st Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134

    Compensation: $21.50-$22.50 per hour

    Status: Full-Time

    About the Role:

    A Dumpling Trainee at Din Tai Fung is responsible for creating, folding, and steaming dumplings while maintaining a professional appearance in a show kitchen setting.

    Training Expectations:

    As a Dumpling Trainee, you will undergo a comprehensive training program to equip you with the necessary skills for success. Upon completion, you will advance to the Dumpling Prep role with a competitive wage increase.

    Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

    • Prepares dough and ingredients
    • Rolls dumpling/bun skins
    • Stuffs, closes, and steams dumplings/buns
    • Adds meat and allergen labels
    • Maintains cleanliness
    • Attends meetings

    Supporting Functions:

    • Keeps kitchen clean
    • Organizes storage units
    • Assists with cleaning
    • Maintains confidentiality

    Job Requirements:

    • Friendly and motivated individuals
    • No prior dumpling experience required
    • Prep experience is a plus
    • Open Availability
    • Desire to learn and grow
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
