DNV s Energy Systems North America group is seeking a collaborative and responsive
Equipment/Site Technician to join our Decarbonization and End User Services team.

The role will be responsible for managing field metering and testing equipment throughout North America M&R offices (North Andover-MA and Medford-MA, Middletown-CT, New York City

  • NY, Oakland-CA, Arlington-VA, Nashville-TN). The field metering management tasks will involve maintaining the equipment tracking database (Asset Panda), assisting in launching and downloading loggers, assist in shipping and receiving loggers, coordinating calibration of equipment at required intervals, and routine travel to regional offices to ensure equipment is stored appropriately in secure locations.
This role will require travel to some regional office locations depending on the project workflow needs.

Minimum anticipated travel to each office location is at least once per year with some offices requiring more frequent travel.

Some of this travel will require overnight stay. Travel is expected to involve approximately 30-40% of the time.


This position will be based out of our offices in Middletown CT, Medford, MA or North Andover, MA. What You ll Do**Manage equipment for all all relevant North America office locations including the following tasks:
  • Maintain the equipment tracking database (Asset Panda)
  • Assist in launching and downloading loggers
  • Assist in shipping and receiving loggers
  • Return or dispose failed equipment
  • Coordinate calibration of equipment at required intervals, and
  • Routine travel to regional offices to ensure equipment is stored appropriately in secure locations
Conduct onsite data collection to support technical assistance work

Produce work results that meet DNV standards

Successfully integrate into DNV culture and work environment

Function in a team environment to cooperatively achieve DNV and project goals
