Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team.

As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations and homes in a 26' box truck.

Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while efficiently navigating assigned routes.


Responsibilities:

• Safely and timely deliver products to designated locations
• Plan and execute efficient routes to maximize productivity
• Load and unload goods using pallet jacks or other equipment as needed
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols

Skills:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a route driver or similar role
• Familiarity with different types of vehicles including box trucks, vans, manual transmission vehicles, refrigerated trailers, and tractortrailers
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan routes and meet delivery deadlines
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other equipment for loading/unloading purposes
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
• Health card

Pay:
$ $20.55 per hour
