Qualifications/Requirements
- College degree in English or journalism a plus
- Prefer one to two years of clerical experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft office programs and business procedures
- Ability to operate multiline phone system and basic office equipment
- Effective communication, problem solving, good time management and follow up skills
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with clients and coworkers
- Must be well organized, patient, thorough and detail oriented.
- Prefer some bookkeeping experience
- Prefer someone with interest in maritime industry and familiarity with nautical terms
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
