Qualifications/Requirements

  • College degree in English or journalism a plus
  • Prefer one to two years of clerical experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programs and business procedures
  • Ability to operate multiline phone system and basic office equipment
  • Effective communication, problem solving, good time management and follow up skills
  • Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with clients and coworkers
  • Must be well organized, patient, thorough and detail oriented.
  • Prefer some bookkeeping experience
  • Prefer someone with interest in maritime industry and familiarity with nautical terms

Pay:
From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
