    Title: Senior Vision Controls Engineer

    Location: Auburn Hills, MI

    About the Position

    As a Senior Vision Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing controls software engineering projects. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while supervising engineering resources and maintaining software solutions for projects. You will work closely with project managers, customers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
    • Supervise engineering resources on the shop floor at customer sites
    • Evaluate software solutions for feasibility and cost effectiveness
    • Prepare documentation and reports for project status updates
    • Implement software designs based on specifications
    • Conduct debug and commission activities on-site
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address project issues
    • Attend job sites regularly to oversee project progress
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 6 years of experience
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents
    • Experience with machine vision software programs such as Cognex or Gig E
    • Familiarity with HMI development and project scheduling software
