Your Responsibilities:

  • Independent examination of bacterial, viral, and human genetic samples in an accredited medical laboratory using molecular biology techniques
  • Application of advanced manual or complex automated procedures for DNA or RNA extraction, amplification, and identification of genetic target sequences
  • Familiarity with techniques such as sequencing, fragment analysis, multiplex PCR, realtime PCR, MLPA, etc.
  • Validation and establishment of new tests for molecular diagnostics
  • Preparation and validation of new analysis equipment for diagnostic routine
  • Participation in the implementation and further development of quality management in the department according to accreditation standards
  • Participation in training and transfer of knowledge to the department
  • Training of employees in methods, analysis procedures, and quality management

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed training as a medical technologist or equivalent educational qualification
  • A plus: experience in the field of molecular biology and medical laboratory routine, especially in the field
