SHIFT:
Day/Night/Weekend Teaching Assignments | Flexible hours based upon the needs of the college

LOCATION:
Lakeshore Technical College - Cleveland, Wisconsin

Responsible for placing learning first and providing educational experiences for learners in accordance with the mission of the college inclusive of facilitating learning, assessing student performance, as well as instruction and outcomes, developing and maintaining current/relevant course materials and curriculum, working with high school dual credit teachers, and communicating with the community, other schools, the college, the division, and team members.

Teaching/training in business and industry may be assigned.

Provide high quality customer service throughout all interactions.

This includes but is not limited to:

work effectively and positively with people from all backgrounds; help the customer find solutions; anticipate needs, and follow-up with the customer.

Provide friendly, respectful, personalized experiences throughout every interaction.

_ This is a year-round position serving, on average, 40 hours per week. During assigned instructional terms, or semesters, 60% of the week is designated for students contact time, or teaching, and 40% for professional expectations, as outlined below. _

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS _(Other duties may be assigned)_**:

Instruction

Faculty in this role are required to maintain proficiency using equipment common to the educational setting, and to align industry specific technology to program courses.

Serve as program lead for the Foundations of Teacher Education program.
Provide regular curriculum and course improvement with continually updated teaching methods.
Participate in college outreach activities.
Work effectively in a teambased environment.
Seek opportunities for continuous professional development.
Facilitate optimal learning through integration of technology and utilization of appropriate delivery methods.
Evaluate student learning based on course competencies employing formative and summative strategies.
Facilitate the necessary training embedded into courses.
Attend statewide Community of Practice meetings to stay updated on training needs.
Create an inclusive, effective learning environment that addresses barriers and provides reasonable accommodations.
Create and maintain effective relationships with industry professionals for the purpose of establishing longterm practicum sites.
Representing the program and college at state conferences.
Work with High School teachers and staff in dual credit/transcript credit courses to maintain course and program consistency and integrity.
