We are currently searching for an Associate Director to join our high performing Cybersecurity & Privacy team in Los Angeles.

We offer a hybrid (remote/onsite) work environment that will allow you to continue working with the flexibility that they have grown accustomed to over the past year, while also continuing to provide onsite service to our fantastic clients.

There is local travel throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and eventually San Diego.


Responsibilities:


  • The Associate Director oversees delivery aspects of Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Cyber Advisory services, ensuring all engagements maintain delivery and quality excellence while working with Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Leadership to achieve projected/forecasted metrics.
  • Support the execution and daytoday management of Cybersecurity Internal Audit engagements while contributing to the pursuit of opportunities to broaden the services and client base of the CAE Cyber Advisory practice.
  • Manage project teams to review and assess IT and Cybersecurity environments, risks, internal audit projects, and compliance for companies that range from newly public high growth entities in rapidly changing environments to the largest public companies.
  • Ensure that our people and teams come first and that our exceptional culture continues to grow our people, providing opportunities for advancement for all team members.
  • Execute, lead, develop, mentor, train and work alongside teams.
  • Recommend internal control solutions that balance client resource constraints with the need to mitigate risk.
  • Oversee successful project completion by prioritizing Associate Director, Manager and Senior Associate tasks.
  • Maintain and build strong, collaborative client relationships through quality delivery and engagement performance.
  • Use local company knowledge to support Service Line gotomarket strategy for practice development activities (we do not have sales goals, we take a collaborative, consultative and relationshipbased approach to clients)
  • Negotiate the scope of the work, bill rates and budgets for recurring projects at existing clients

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field
  • A minimum of 8+ years of related work experience in operating, implementing, or architecting Cybersecurity systems with a strong understanding of Cybersecurity, IT Risk and Internal Audit.
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering internal audit advisory engagements to clients within a professional services capacity.
  • Strong existing relationships within the Cybersecurity, IT and Audit management ranks (e.g., Director of Information Security, Director of Information Technology, Director of Internal Audit). Relationships with Executive ranks a plus (e.g., CISO, CIO, CAE).
  • Project management of Cyber/IT Risk/Internal Audit engagements including development of project charters and plans; management of project execution and successful implementation of the planned solution.
  • Experience in process definition, workflow design and process mapping.
  • Working knowledge base in operations, systems evaluation and architecture.
