District Custom Woodworks is currently seeking to hire a
Full-time Cabinet Technician in our
Manassas, VA office.

The Technician will perform a variety of carpentry and construction tasks including, but not limited to, building and installing high end millwork and custom cabinetry.

The Technician is responsible for the safe and professional performance of all production, installation and related activities.


Duties include:

• Working with a small and dedicated team of experienced craftsmen to produce high quality millwork and custom cabinetry.
• Reading and understanding millwork drawings.
• Operating a forklift.
• Operating modern CNC shop equipment.
• Building custom cabinetry.
• Using hand and power tools to Install millwork and custom cabinetry.
• Standing and working on a ladder.
• Driving Delivery Vehicle.
• Loading, unloading, carrying and moving heavy objects.
• Maintain proper documentation for all work performed on internal software, including taking photos, notes and generating daily work logs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and job site at all times.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Some experience preferred.
• Construction trade certification preferred. Must be able to read and write (English). Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and multiplication/division of fractions). Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision. Must receive and accept feedback, and act upon directives to change and/or improve.

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (required)
