The Parent Educator aims to promote health family functioning, and enhance the development of every young children with home visits, parent education, and case management. The Parent Educator will provide case management services to participants including but not limited to assessment of need, service, planning, home visits, reassessments, linkages and referrals to public and private services and programs, information dissemination, advocacy, mental health assessment, and service plan follow-up planning. The role will also coordinate parent education components of program.

Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Human Services, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
Experience in child development, early childhood education, social work, or related field.
Experience conducting developmental screening, homebased and centerbased services, referrals and advocacy.
Kwnoledge of PAT curriculum guidelines.
Experience assisting in recruiting eligible families for home visiting program and maintain caseload.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge and understanding of community.
Requires extensive local travel and some evening and weekend hours
Must have access to reliable and efficient transportation that will allow for the completion of caseload responsibility (Drivers' License and Car Insurance)

Expected Salary:
Not to exceed $46,800/year.- This is a full-time exempt position.
