The position of OGS Director primarily involves planning and implementing needs-based offerings in the areas of education, upbringing, and counseling within the context of the Open All-Day School.

Job Profile:


  • Organizing and coordinating all offerings within the OGS
  • Planning extracurricular activities and leisure programs
  • Planning/organizing homework supervision and study time
  • Scheduling and creating work schedules for employees
  • Organizing lunchtime meals
  • Managing the budget for supplies and materials
  • Conducting team meetings
  • Implementing and further developing the overall concept in coordination with the OGS team, school management, and the sponsoring organization
  • Adhering to the guidelines and concepts of the organization and acting accordingly
  • Facilitating collaboration with school management, teachers, educational staff, parttime employees, as well as networking and cooperation with external partners in the fields of youth welfare, sports, and music

Desired Competencies:


  • Completed degree in social work or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in coordination/team leadership roles
  • Pedagogical knowledge/experience, preferably in early childhood education and support for elementary school children
  • Basic knowledge of youth welfare
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of local social service networks (or willingness to acquire this knowledge)
  • Basic computer skills
