Contract Period:
Year-round position, 40 hours/week, non-exempt


Supervisors:
Facilities Director


Qualifications:
High School diploma, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must hold a valid driver's license. Mechanical aptitude is required. Ability to work safely, independently, and perform heavy manual work in various weather conditions is essential. Some knowledge of horticulture and landscape maintenance is helpful.


DUTIES:

  • Maintain and mow lawns and fields.
-Plant and maintain shrubs and flowers. -Empty exterior trash barrels; pick up trash on grounds. -Assist with snow removal. -Provide general landscape maintenance. -Maintain and operate equipment. -Assist with set-up of various campus events. -Must be available to work nights and weekends mainly due to weather-related issues. -Perform additional duties as assigned by Facilities Director.
