Shelter worker needed for our 17- bed single women's shelter in Center Moriches. Our shelters operate 24/7/365. Please note that before employment can start, clearance must be obtained through the Dept. of Social Services; background check, CPS history, State Central Registry.Available Shifts:
8am-4pm M, W, F
The
Shelter worker is responsible for
monitoring the activities of residents of the
shelter/center and to ensure compliance with program rules and expectations.
frequently, and experience with handling minor maintenance issues, such as changing filters, light bulbs, cleaning and organizing of pantry and storage areas, and other household-type chores as needed.
Experience in a related field is not necessary but is helpful.Job Type:

Pay:
From $18.90 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 24 per week
