    Job Description

    Florida Stairworks is seeking a full-time drafter to join or design team. Applicant with residential and commercial building knowledge preferred. Prior experience with metal railing and stair fabrication a huge plus. On the job training is provided for company specific CAD/CAM software. This position has advancement possibilities and you will work on a wide variety of interesting projects. Full time work, with good benefits including paid holidays, vacation, and insurance. Pay is commensurate with experience.

    Job Duties

    • Create Shop drawings for staircase production, Signoffs, and As-Builts
    • Communicate with project managers to ensure drawings meet specifications
    • Create parts and materials list

    Required Skills

    • Proficiency in AutoCad a must
    • Ability to interpret construction plans and documents
    • Good communication skills
    • Detail oriented attitude
    • Team player and willingness to learn a must
    • Microsoft Office
